I’m so glad you’ve secured eternal salvation in Christ Jesus!
It is the MOST important decision you ever have and ever will make!
Rest assured, if you’ve come to Jesus with a repentant heart and have confessed Christ Jesus as Lord, you are saved!
However, the real journey has just begun and there’s a lot of confusion out there concerning the word of God, and God is not the author of confusion (1 Cor. 14:33).
This first step guide is designed for all Christians, but especially new Christians, as a way to create a strong foundation in the faith so that you are not so easily swayed off course as many are (Matt. 7:14).
Not all Christians agree with the tenets listed here, but the word of God is divisive and sharper than any two edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), so that should be expected.
I believe in these tenets with all my heart and they have served me well on my walk. They are given with love and backed by scripture.
